Work is progressing at the site of Baxter International's new pharmaceutical manufacturing campus in Covington, Ga. The $1 billion project is being managed by Fluor, and as work gets closer to being completed, there should be about 2,200 construction workers on site. Meanwhile, about 85% of the project's construction waste is being recycled. The project has an on-site concrete batch plant and will use about 60,000 cubic yards of concrete.
