Regulators to address market vulnerabilities

Regulators are set this week to take up two matters aimed at averting a repeat of the 2008 financial meltdown. First, the Financial Stability Oversight Council will look at designating a number of nonbank financial institutions as systemically important. Then, securities regulators will debate rules for money market funds designed to prevent runs on the funds.
