Researchers at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology have developed a graphene-based electrode with silver nanowires to make a transparent device that they say could be used in flexible displays, solar cells and other electronics. The material could be an alternative to indium tin oxide-based transparent electrodes, which are brittle and inflexible, they note.
