Why the U.S. lags other countries in work-life balance

The U.S. ranks 28th when it comes to work-life balance, according to the OECD Better Life Index, and one of the reasons might be because of the increasing number of single moms. "Lone mothers in the U.S. have less available time than lone mothers in any of the other countries [ranked in the index]," researchers said.
