Expulsion prevention programs keep youngsters in preschool

Michigan's 17 expulsion prevention programs for preschoolers help keep four-year-olds with extreme behavioral problems from being kicked out of school for swearing, kicking and biting. Mary Mackrain, statewide technical consultant for the programs, believes early intervention prevents bigger problems from developing later.
