Wisconsin sues 20 major drugmakers over wholesale pricing

Wisconsin's attorney general filed suit against 20 of the nation's largest pharmaceutical companies yesterday, accusing them of inflating prices and violating Wisconsin laws dealing with wholesale pricing. The suit states the drugmakers put in place "an unlawful scheme" as early as 1992, and if the court finds the violations were against senior citizens, the suit seeks fines of $10,000 per violation for a restitution program.
