Executive says she bilked schools of $1.3 million

The president of a special education company that operates four private New Jersey schools pleaded guilty Monday to overbilling schools by $1.3 million over three years. The company will return the money to the schools and pay the state for the costs of its investigation. The president may face several years in prison and a $50,000 fine; her attorney said the charges were made in error.
