SEC to propose pay disclosure for lower-ranking workers

As part of a review of compensation policies, the Securities and Exchange Commission will propose that companies reveal how employees below the executive suite are compensated. The agency is also considering requiring firms to explain their relationships with compensation consultants. Mary Schapiro, head of the SEC, said the agency could consider the rule changes next month.
