Taiwanese manufacturers looking past 3rd-party relationships

No longer satisfied with simply supplying third-party Western companies with technology products, a number of Taiwan-based tech manufacturers are starting to take their own products directly to the market, with companies like Asustek and Acer leading the way. "There is a strong desire in the Taiwanese industry to try and break through," said Mark Lee with DeviceVM. "I think the industry is going through that big transformation right now."
