US Airways reports declines in May traffic

With the swine flu making a big dent in airline travel, US Airways reports a 5.2% decline in its mainland May traffic, compared with the same month a year ago, to 5.2 billion revenue passenger miles. Passenger revenue per available seat on a consolidated level dropped between 18% and 20%, with the swine flu taking a $20 million toll on May revenue.
