Obama: Feds must support "fragile" economic recovery

Although the economy is "getting stronger by the day," the government must continue to support its fragile recovery by extending unemployment benefits, subsidizing health insurance and assisting cities and states struggling with low tax revenues, President Barack Obama said Wednesday. His critics argue that the federal deficit is already too large to continue such support.
