Poll finds many providers are interested in the iPad

An Epocrates survey found that 23% of responding providers had planned to buy the Apple iPad even before its release. An Epocrates spokeswoman said the pace of iPad adoption among health care professionals will depend on the quality of medical applications specially designed for the mobile device.
