Risk of ischemic stroke is greater in migraine sufferers

Researchers found that migraine sufferers are twice as likely to suffer an ischemic stroke as those who do not experience the headaches. People who get migraines should avoid smoking, control their blood pressure and address other stroke risk factors, one of the researchers said.
