Study: Global hospital information systems market is poised for growth

A GlobalData study projects that the global hospital information systems market will reach more than $18 billion over the next six years, led by electronic medical records and practice management. Hospitals are stepping up adoption of HIT so they can qualify for government incentives by improving efficiency and the quality of patient care, the study says.
