$109M in HUD grants will revitalize public housing

The Department of Housing and Urban Development, through its Choice Neighborhoods program, will provide $109 million in grants to replace distressed housing, improve educational outcomes and rehabilitate neighborhoods. The grants are available to public housing authorities, local governments, nonprofit organizations, tribal entities and, conditionally, for-profit developers.
