Doctors should not expect too much out of tablet technology

The medical profession has jumped on the tablet technology bandwagon with great enthusiasm, but researchers warn that physicians should ratchet down expectations about what the devices will deliver in a clinical setting. Tablets at the bedside likely are here to stay, but experts say physicians must better manage their use, understand the technology's limitations and adjust their work flow.
