Video demand drives broadband adoption in China, India

More than half of the world's leading broadband providers are located in three countries: China, India and the U.S., according to an SNL Kagan report. The report found strong broadband video adoption in the Asia-Pacific region, where the 10 largest operators each serve more than 10 million subscribers, while in North America, telecom providers are outpacing incumbent cable operators for overall Internet television subscribers.
