HHS allots $300M to expand services in community health centers

HHS plans to offer grants totaling $300 million to community health centers across the U.S. to boost health care access for individuals newly insured under the Affordable Care Act, the department said. The grants will be used to extend service hours, to increase the supply of health care professionals, and to introduce pharmacy, vision, oral and behavioral health services.
