Marin expands into social retargeting with acquisition

Marin Software is moving beyond its focus on search marketing and into the social space with its purchase of Perfect Audience, a social and display retargeting service, for $22.8 million. "Now it's no longer just about what words people search on, but who is doing the searching," Marin Chief Marketing Officer Matt Ackley says.
