Experimental drug helps fight drug-resistant tuberculosis

A new drug might hold the key to tackling drug-resistant tuberculosis and makes conventional therapies five times as effective, doctors reported in the New England Journal of Medicine. The experimental drug works by cutting off tuberculosis bacteria's energy supply.
