CFTC's Gensler says bill should include trading requirements

Gary Gensler, chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, said lawmakers who are reconciling the House and Senate versions of regulatory-reform legislation should keep trading-disclosure requirements that would benefit derivatives users. "Every exemption, exception or loophole could weaken the legislation, leave risk in the system and strengthen Wall Street's information advantage," Gensler said.
