Giant bank pledges $10B to small suppliers

Bank of America says its lending to small and midsized businesses grew $3 billion in the first quarter, hitting $19.4 billion. Now the banking giant is pledging to buy $10 billion in goods and services from those same businesses over five years. The goal is to help "all small and medium-sized businesses create more jobs in this challenging economy," said CEO Brian Moynihan.
