New HSR agency chief to re-evaluate California's plans

In his third day on the job, the new chief of California's high-speed rail agency vowed to re-evaluate some of the assumptions of the state's plans and promised to form partnerships with the community. Roelof van Ark said he plans to increase his staff and look at funding options. "We will be focusing with our financial advisers to secure other funding for the project," he said.
