Broadcast nets are likely to reap smaller CPM increases in upfront

Fox and ABC reportedly are accepting CPM gains in the 5% range in their upfront talks, compared with last year's increases of about 8% to 9% for Fox and 6% to 7% for ABC. CBS reportedly has yet to finalize any agreements, while NBC parent NBCUniversal is said to be trying to negotiate broadcast-cable ad bundles.
