Cisco to take IT services focus to new level

The ongoing focus for Cisco and its partners is IT services, and the network gear vendor admits it's going to be a challenging road. "Selling cloud and managed services is a new business model. If you move too quickly to a recurring revenue stream model, you will be greeted with cash flow challenges. If you move too slow, you're out of the game. It's all about timing," Cisco's Edison Peres said. Cisco has launched a new business certification program and enhanced its cloud services reseller program.
