Entrepreneurs start a socially conscious T-shirt business

Jeff Steitz and Ryan Westberg got the idea for their business, Serengetee, while on a study-abroad trip that involved taking classes on a ship and visiting various ports. They collected fabrics during their travels and eventually decided to start their company, a T-shirt business that sources fabrics from around the world and uses a portion of the proceeds to support charitable causes. The company is projected to bring in more than $250,000 this year in revenue, and its founders want to donate $25,000 to charity.
