Experimental wound dressing works like a scab

An experimental membrane made from a polyurethane nanofiber works much like a scab, preventing infection and speeding wound healing, scientists report in the journal ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces. The membrane could be used as a wound dressing or for bone repair or reconstruction of neural networks.
