Most Americans back Keystone XL project, API survey finds

The U.S. stands to benefit from the construction of TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline, a majority of voters said in an American Petroleum Institute-commissioned survey. "The American people support it -- people of all political points of view, politicians from both parties and national opinion leaders," said Cindy Schild, downstream operations senior manager at API. "We've witnessed firsthand the public's strong support in the rallies we've held and in poll after poll that's been conducted."
