Poland proves popular for luxury brands

In the past 20 years, Poland's high-end retail scene has morphed from flea markets full of knockoffs to California-style malls where luxury retailers struggle to find space. "There's undeniable potential in Poland for the rapid development of the luxury market, not only through Polish clients but also as Warsaw is an attractive destination for tourists from all over the world," said Roberto Eggs, president of Louis Vuitton North Europe, which will open a store in Warsaw's Vitkac department store later this month.
