Slightly fewer U.S. families have problems paying medical bills

The percentage of people younger than 65 who lived in a household that is having trouble paying medical bills declined from 21.7% in 2011 to 20.3% in 2012, according to a CDC report. The number of children belonging to families struggling with medical bills fell by nearly 2 percentage points, but children were still more likely than adults to be in that situation.
