A drink a day keeps women's heart attacks away

Women who drink a daily alcoholic beverage, or moderate amounts of alcohol, may lower their heart attack risk, a recent study revealed. Women who had a daily alcoholic drink were 31% less likely to have a nonfatal heart attack than women who drank less than one alcoholic beverage a day, although drunkenness was found to significantly increase the risk of a heart attack.
