Popular Arizona district superintendent dies

Rolland Robert "Bob" Jones, 56, who visited schools in his east Phoenix district every day, using his 34 years of experience in education to help teachers inspire students, died last week due to a blood clot. "We can't look at each other without crying," said governing school board president Sharon Kracht.
