Biotech startup uses blue-green algae to produce clean energy

Una Ryan, former official at Avant Immunotherapeutics, has launched biotech startup Waltham Technologies to explore the conversion of wastewater to clean, renewable energy using blue-green algae-based technology. Waltham Technologies is testing the technology with at least two unnamed breweries in Massachusetts.
