Electronic treasure hunt offers lessons in math, geography

Some Virginia elementary-school students are learning about mathematical coordinate grids and latitude and longitude by participating in a type of high-tech treasure hunt. Students track the location of a geocache on school property using a GPS to determine its satellite coordinates.
