Accountable care organization leaders participating in the recent Health Datapalooza said they are building their own IT solutions, rather than buying commercial technology, to meet their care coordination and data analytics needs. For example, Dr. William Chin of Healthcare Partners, which participates in the Pioneer ACO, said his group developed an online point-of-care reminder system, care management tool guides and a clinical decision support solution.
