Carriers appeal to all fliers with upscale, add-on meals

Air France is offering economy-class fliers meal upgrades, including foie gras terrine, while Austrian Airlines put Wiener schnitzel and sushi on the menu. "The low-cost carriers have taken ancillary revenue from a normal way of doing business and turned it almost into an art form," said John Dabkowski, managing director for airline technology company Navitaire.
