Landry's acquires Calif.-based Mastro's Restaurants

Houston-based restaurant conglomerate Landry's has acquired the upscale, 11-unit Mastro's Restaurants steak and seafood chain, with plans to add at least three new units. Mark Levy, chairman and CEO of the Woodland Hills, Calif.-based Mastro's, will continue to run the brand's day-to-day operations, a Landry's spokesman said.
