NCBiotech grant builds high-tech lab for student research

An education-enhancement grant has paid for two laminar flow hoods, an environment growth chamber, microscopes and other lab materials at Cape Fear High School's budding biotech technology and agriscience research honors class in North Carolina. The hands-on learning program was developed using a $26,591 grant from NCBiotech, a nonprofit that supports biotechnology research, education, business and strategic policy throughout the state.
