N.J. developer's request for release of performance guarantees is challenged

Residents of a New Jersey adult community opposed the developer's request for release of performance bonds, citing issues including streets, drainage and dying trees. The Manalapan township attorney told residents that the community's transition committee would resolve any outstanding complaints with the developer after maintenance bonds take effect.
