Rep. Dingell raises more questions about FCC auctions

In a letter to the Federal Communications Commission, Rep. John Dingell, D-Mich., is asking whether the agency is overstepping its authority with certain actions regarding upcoming spectrum auctions. Dingell's queries concern coordination with Canada and Mexico, broadcast interference and the FCC's authority for a weighted reverse auction -- and the effects of such an auction on participants and how much spectrum is recovered.
