TSA says no change in carry-on policy for knives, other items

The Transportation Security Administration has rescinded a plan to change its carry-on policy concerning small knives and other banned items. "After extensive engagement with the Aviation Security Advisory Committee, law enforcement officials, passenger advocates, and other important stakeholders, TSA will continue to enforce the current prohibited items list," the agency said in a statement.
