Yahoo announces cleaner look for search results page

Yahoo's search results page is undergoing a redesign to give it a cleaner appearance and improve load times, the company announced, via a Tumblr post. The approach is designed to appear cleaner than Google's search results page, which places product advertisements at the top. Additional new search features will also be added in the coming months, said senior vice president Laurie Mann.
