Google bows development kit for "Project Tango" tablet

Google on Thursday brought out its Project Tango Tablet Development Kit, hoping to kick-start creation of applications for the $1,024 tablet computer, which is expected to go on sale this year. The tablet features cameras for tracking motions in 3D. It will have a 7-inch screen and will be based on Nvidia's Tegra K1 processor.
