Kan. district abides by policy on tossing out uneaten food

A law requiring that unopened, uneaten food distributed as part of a Kansas school district's in-class breakfast program be thrown away is drawing controversy. However, David Smith, chief of Staff for Kansas City public schools, says the program is doing a lot of good and is abiding by the regulations set in place for it to maintain funding.
