Marriott CEO: Older brands need to refresh to appeal to younger travelers

Younger travelers' preferences for socialization and a "local" experience are prompting an effort within Marriott to enhance its older brands, CEO Arne Sorenson said. He pointed to the success of Marriott's latest lifestyle brands, Edition, Moxy and AC Hotels, in capturing the demand for luxury and lifestyle hotel experiences.
