Ohio elementary school applies BYOD to music instruction

After watching bring-your-own-device programs succeed in other subjects, a teacher at an Ohio elementary school decided to use BYOD to help fourth- and fifth-grade students continue their music lessons over the summer. Under the program, students use their own iPads, smartphones and other devices -- or are assigned a device -- to access mobile applications that help teach music.
