Segmenting luxury travelers helps find the right product, experts say

With the resurgence of luxury travel, travel agents will have to review their strategies in catering to this lucrative segment, said experts at The Affluent Traveler Symposium in Boca Raton, Fla. The key is to segment luxury customers into three groups -- researchers, "experientials" and traditional travelers, said Jeff Senior, chief marketing officer of Fairmont Hotels.
