Sensors help hotels monitor temperature, reduce expenses

Sensors allow hotels to reduce costs by monitoring the temperature of guest rooms and allowing temperatures to rise or drop to certain set points. For larger rooms, such as conference rooms, hotels can equip their thermostats with features that wait for a period of time after the room is empty to modify the temperature, experts say.
