Poll: Six in 10 people say marriage none of government's business

More than 60% of Americans view marriages between gay and lesbian couples as "strictly a private decision," according to a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll. The survey also found that about one in three Americans believe the government has the right "to prohibit or allow" such unions.
