Officials give "monster sewer digger" a manicure

A 65-ton "monster sewer digger" has been given a break from boring tunnels beneath Boone County, Ky., while workers manicure its claws. The 193-foot-long machine, described as "a spinning earthworm with cheese graters on the front of it," needed its scraper-buckets sharpened before it could go back to work, officials said.
